Catman of the Opera, is an own son of Sophisticated Catt, out of CR Stylish Cheena, a daughter of Playin Stylish which I raised. He has been under saddle for nearly a year and has been on cows for 6 months. He has a big stop and good moves on a cow. His natural curiosity is a real asset. He's easy to handle and easy to be around. 3 of his half siblings were in the Open finals at the Australian Futurity. The Open Champion, with Clint Allen in the saddle, was a half sibling. And a 4th sibling was in the Non-Pro Finals. There has been an ad in the Chatter with this information detailed, see July 2012, page 53. His first Futurity payment for 2012 has been paid. We feel he is a real prospect for next December.

"Chick" is an own daughter of Doc O Dynamite. She is only six and one of the youngest daughters out there.

CR Mr Peppys Mambo, (Stallion), is a son of Mr Peppys Freckles, out of Jillchina. Big stop and slide. Can spin on a dime. He could be a reining prospect as well as a cutter. He has been easy to train. We expected to go to the Futurity with him this year, but he doesn't have the stature to carry me. He will be an excellent aged event prospect for a smaller person.

"Mia" was started by Lee Francois and shown at the 2010 NCHA Futurity. She lost a cow in the first round and we decided to bring her home to train the following January. Our trainer, Richie Mears, took over her training at that point and by Spring we took her to some shows. She hasn't seemed to get the breaks to get a check yet but she's really coming around. Right now she needs "diesel smoke" according to Richie......she just needs to be shown. We think she'd make a Non-Pro or Amateur a great horse.

"Wizard" is a fully trained cutting horse. He is extremely athletic and huge stopper. He always works with his butt under him hunting the stop. Very nice young gelding ready to show. Also great to ride out. Very quiet and sensible.

Super solid Doc's Oak gelding that will pack anyone!

"Clyde" is a 2 year old black gelding by Smart Mate out of CC Mariah, our old Doc's Oak mare with PE over $80,000. Richie Mears is riding Clyde and really likes him. He's solid black and a great athlete but as Richie says "he's a whole heap smarter than your average 2 year old". He believes Clyde has a very bright future and that someone should plan on taking him to Futurity 2012.

Pattie is a pretty liver chestnut mare . She is very cowy and a big stopper in the cutting where she excels, but is also very solid and quiet in the reined work with a plus lead change and turn-around.
